Responsible for the processing of data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

As a small shop, we are not currently required to appoint a data protection officer.

In short

This website is a digital storefront, not an online shop. It sets no tracking or marketing cookies, embeds no advertising or analytics services, and does not pass your data to third parties for marketing. The only thing stored is your choice of language (German or English), kept in a technically necessary cookie. The typefaces are hosted on our own server — so opening the page makes no connection to Google Fonts or any similar font service.

Language cookie

When you switch between German and English, the site remembers your choice in a small cookie (named “locale”, kept for one year). This cookie holds nothing but the selected language; it serves only the convenience of showing you the site in your language on your next visit, and it is not used for advertising, tracking, or recognising you as a person, nor passed to third parties. Because it is technically necessary for this function you have asked for, it is exempt from consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG — no cookie banner is required for it. You can delete the cookie at any time in your browser settings.

Hosting & server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel. When you open the page, the server processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically — including your IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the referring link, and details about your browser and operating system.

This processing is necessary to deliver the site securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website dependably and safely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other sources and is not used to identify individual visitors.

A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider, Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). Transfers to the United States rest on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Vercel is certified, and additionally on the EU standard contractual clauses.

Typefaces

The typefaces on this site (Fraunces and Newsreader) reside on our own server and are loaded from there. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font service, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

Location map

The map of our location is a static aerial image hosted on our own server and loaded from there. It embeds no map service such as Google Maps, loads nothing from an outside server on page view, and transmits no data to third parties. Only when you click the map does Google Maps open in a new tab — your own choice.

Contact by email

This site has no contact form. If you wish to write to us, the email link opens your own mail program; your message therefore reaches us directly by email, not through this website. We then process the details you choose to include in your message — usually your sender address, your name, and the substance of your enquiry.

We use these details solely to handle and answer your enquiry. The legal basis is your enquiry and our interest in replying to it (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). We delete your message once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention periods stand in the way.

Disclosure to third parties

Your data is not disclosed to third parties — apart from the hosting provider named above, which delivers the site technically and does so on our behalf and on our instructions. No transfer for advertising purposes takes place.

Encryption

This site is transmitted exclusively in encrypted form (SSL/TLS, recognisable by the “https” in the address bar). The data between your browser and our server is thus protected from being read in transit.

Your rights

Within the limits of the law, you have the right at any time to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, and to data portability. You may also object to any processing based on our legitimate interest.

An informal message to clock [at] innresidenz [dot] com is enough.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For us in Bavaria this is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach.
